A Better Look
Meet Daniel and Dang, two travelers and photography enthusiasts who first crossed paths training Jiu Jitsu in Saigon, Vietnam. Bonded by their shared adventures across the globe, they quickly realized they shared another habit: a deep reliance on daily planning and staying organized. However, every time they searched for a new journal, they found a market completely saturated with hyper-feminine designs that simply didn't match their aesthetic or lifestyle. Tired of settling for products that missed the mark, they decided to take matters into their own hands and build their own brand. Today, they craft sleek, intentional planners designed specifically for those who value minimalist style, functional organization, and understated quality.

Daniel
Daniel served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Marine. In 2024, his life shifted abruptly when he suffered an ischemic stroke that severely impacted his memory and left him with loss of movement on the left side of his body.
Driven to rebuild, Daniel traveled to Southeast Asia to immerse himself in Jiu Jitsu training and focus on his physical recovery. While navigating this long journey, he adapted his lifelong habit of using planners to design a custom system specifically tailored to restore his memory and keep his progress on track.
That personal recovery tool became the blueprint for Personal Legend Planners—a brand built to help others master their own daily growth with purpose, precision, and relentless drive.
Dang
Dang is a traveler, street photographer, and lifelong observer of people, places, and the stories that unfold between them. His travels have taken him across Africa and Southeast Asia, from Malaysia and Thailand to Indonesia, where he is often found documenting the quiet, candid moments that give each place its character.
Beyond photography, Dang is drawn to creative work that carries a deeper purpose. He partnered on Personal Legend Planners as a way to bring together his love of exploration, storytelling, and meaningful impact. Through the brand, a portion of its proceeds is dedicated to supporting children in Vietnam and creating opportunities for a stronger future.
For Dang, Personal Legend is more than a planner. It is a reminder that the way we shape our own path can also help create a better one for someone else.
